Roadstone Rebrand

Roadstone, an iconic Irish brand, was established in 1949 and is owned by the CRH Group. They approached me to redesign their logo, looking for a more contemporary feel, as befits a modern thriving company. The brief was to update the brand while retaining a link to its heritage.

The design, logo, typeface and colour palette were refreshed, so that they would have maximum impact, whether on the road or on a letterhead. I designed all the separate elements in a suite of deliverables, which included letterheads, business cards, signage for locations nationwide along with the livery for Roadstone’s entire fleet of trucks and machinery. The vehicles themselves in effect became "mobile 48 sheets”, helping to raise the brands profile nationwide. I also designed a set of brand guidelines to ensure consistency into the future.
